((siiiiiiigh)) After looong practice, I have finally dropped my mother's habit of correcting people's grammar. Well, I do it for the spousal overunit, because he appreciates it. But man did it take me a long time to realize a lot of people actually found that terribly offensive.

That superpower's a long way outside of my genome. Though I am perhaps too used to being The First-Language-English Person In The Lab, with all the reading everyone else's papers for errors that that entails.
