Partway through the tax forms

I've just done the minimal "add total income, look at standard deduction and exemptions, compare withholding to tax table" and it looks like we'll be okay. I haven't even looked at the self-employment forms (where we'll owe a significant amount), or the state stuff, but it could be a lot worse.

Also, I downloaded the federal extension form, and then used the automatic fax system to get the NY state one, which at least proves that I'm set up properly to receive faxes.
