I punted exercise yesterday, so this morning I got up and went despite feeling decidedly like I'd rather not: by now I've been doing this long enough to know that exercising improves my mood.
So I went downtown, did the usual mix of exercises. I had lunch in Chinatown afterwards because I realized I was dithering about what and where to eat, at which point it's time to go with the default: my default after-gym lunch is Excellent Dumpling House, so that's where I went. I declined their offer of "the usual dish" and had Singapore chow mei fun, because the man next to me had that and it smelled tempting.
Even after exercise and food, I wasn't feeling social or ambitious, so I bounced up to Fairway, picked up some late clementines, some tangerine juice, and sausages to cook tonight, then came home. It's still gray and overcast, which I suspect is a large part of why I'm in this mood, but I also want to make sure I have some time to myself in the next few days, pre-Minicon. I am very much looking forward to Minicon and seeing people, including some of you, but I'm getting some idea of my physical and emotional limits.
