Last night, I asked
cattitude to wake me when he got up, so I could head out and go to the gym this morning. He did, I got up, we did the usual morning stuff--shower, coffee and tea, yogurt for me (protein is good)--and headed out.
After about a block, it became clear that the neck muscle I'd strained yesterday when I stumbled on the stair was not, in fact, recovered: it had been okay around the house, but not with a backpack on. So much for that plan. I walked with Cattitude, pointing out a few daffodils and such under the chill gray sky, then came home and took my pack off. I have taken an ibuprofen and made a second mug of tea, but I am annoyed.
