This time, I got my beloved Big Purple Cat to help me dye my hair. Not only did he point out spots I'd missed, he applied the purple glop to the parts in back that I have trouble getting at. (This was easier before I started growing my hair out.)
So I am quite happily purple, despite a few stained spots on my face that I smeared before
cattitude took over the dyeing.

Did you ruin lots of clothes, do the dyeing very carefully, or dye nude? :-)

Following the instructions on the dye, I wrapped an old towel around my shoulders. (I use the same old towel every time; I should probably run it through the laundry, since it's running out of unstained spots.)

H'mmm. There aren't too many folks I'd want to help me dye mine, but coraline occasionally hosts a bit of a hair-dyeing party (she and lyonesse have Very Long Hair too, so we could all pitch in...) I do well enough by combing the dye through with a wide-toothed comb, but I'm not convinced that I've done a thorough-enough job of it. Maybe next time they have a dye-in, I'll go...
Growing your hair out is Good. Generic non-gender-specific preference for long hair here, but you knew that ;-}.
