I've now done 15 pages of proofreading for the new client, which is a good start. The nice thing about them wanting it by fax is that I can use an ordinary dark-gray pencil for markup, which lets me erase at need and not worry about the softness of most colored pencils (and thus how fast they lose their points).

I'm glad you like the gingerbread. It is dense enough that smiting it with a cleaver isn't so improbable after all, no?
