We also picked up the last Warren Zevon album, My Ride's Here, and then I went to the gym, which was more crowded than I was expecting on a Saturday afternoon: I'd guess a lot of people who would otherwise have gone during the week put it off until the temperature was above freezing instead of way below. I seem to have increased the weight, number of repetitions, or both on almost all my exercises; I hope I'm not too sore tomorrow.
Cardio, 25 minutes, top heart rate 147 (the Saturday paper is skimpy, and I got bored after I ran out of reading)
Hip adduction, 105 pounds, 3 sets of 13
Hip abduction, 90 pounds, 3 sets of 12
Assisted chin-up, 10, 7
Calf machine, 60 pounds, 3 sets of 15
Bench press, 60 pounds, 2 sets of 12, then one set of 7 at that weight followed quickly by 5 at 55 pounds
Seated leg curl, 90 pounds, 3 sets of 12
Tricep pulldown, 45 pounds, 3 sets of 15; I had to strain to finish the third set
Lat pulldown, 72 pounds, 12, 5; 65 pounds, 12
Crunches and back arches, I think the usual (4 × 20 and 3 ×16, respectively), but I got distracted by thinking about writing and lost count of sets
Yoga tree, 4 sets of {2 on each leg}
Wrist curl, 30 pounds, 3 sets of 15
Adjustable row, 100 pounds, 3 sets of 12
(Tried the leg press, stopped after 1 (at 235 pounds) because my knees complained)

My Ride's Here is the better album of the two, and is superb; I love his antepenultimate album, Life'll Kill Ya, even more. The Wind has a lot of good material on it, but it sounds like it was done in a hurry, because, well, it was.
