I got this one from
serenejournal:
1. Which 5 LJ friends have you known longest?
roadnotes and
minnehaha B, by several years; then
supergee,
volund, and
cattitude, in that order (unless I'm forgetting the LJ presence of someone fannish, or losing track of time again, either of which is entirely possible). To give an idea of timescale, I met Roadnotes around 1975 and Cattitude in 1983. (I'm not counting
eve99 here, since she never posts and I don't think is even using that account to read my journal, which is why I created it for her.)
2. Is/are your significant other/s on LJ?
Yes.
3. Do you have LJ friends you've never met in real life?
Yes. An incomplete list, in no particular order:
ladysisyphus,
doseybat,
rho,
angelsk,
pleonastic,
catamorphism,
calanthe_b
4. Do you have friends that you met first on LJ, then in real life?
The only one I'm sure of is
livredor. I think I met
truepenny in person before on LJ, but I could be mistaken.
I have friends I met first in other online or papernet contexts, then in the flesh, and who are here on LJ. Some of them I may have seen here as well as elsenet before meeting them in person. There are several people I got to know via Usenet or paper fandom, and then in person, before being on LJ with them.
5. Do you discuss personal information in your LJ?
Yes. Some of that is friends-filtered, some isn't, and "personal information" could cover almost everything I post, since I keep a separate Weblog to share links. I wouldn't exactly call the gym-number posts personal in any sense of private, but they're certainly specific-to-me and in that sense personal.
