A productive morning

cattitude and I sat down with a spreadsheet and worked out an approximate budget. Approximate because, while we know what some of our expenses come to, we had to guess on others (notably groceries). However, we definitely have enough to cover all necessary spending, and then a bit. I am much relieved.

I've also discovered that the solitaire game I play a lot grabs the sound card, and won't let realaudio or winamp have it.

I drew up a spreadsheet for our expenses a few months ago and I've been filling it in religiously - it actually seems to help. It's amazing how much money we're saving by me not working.
