The job hunt begins here: I have a resume (probably could use more work, but I have one), and I wrote a cover letter, put the two into an envelope, and addressed it to the contact person listed on the job posting.
I've been warned that it's likely to take weeks to hear from them, even if they're interested. Fortunately, I'm not in a great hurry--and in some ways, this is less "I want this job" than "I need to set this process going." Among other things, the job description is somewhat vague--but it implies a varied set of tasks, which appeals to me.
