The map meme: enough of my friends are already on here to be interesting, though I do wonder when bugsybanana moved to Bermuda, and how they're coping after the hurricane.

Many of my Livejournal friends' locations can be seen on this map - please add your location starting with this form. Username: Since this is a meme, it wants you to ask your friends to do the same.

Also, if I'd done this, it would mark at least one city in Africa, maybe Nairobi. Like serenejournal, I've edited the boilerplate from the cut-and-paste of the map link.

I end up with a Friend (or Friends) in the Southern Ocean, hundreds of miles off the Great Australian Bight. Presumably the software can't locate Adelaide.

The software has been designed so that if you accidently click anywhere on the map it makes that where you live without asking for any confirmation. It has all the geographical sense of a US president.

Two of the other Israelis whose livejournals I read, including my wife's, have apparently migrated to the Northwest passage. Given that aethereal_girl tried to put herself down fairly close to my location, this came as something of a surprise to all of us.
