a surreal moment

At one point last night--I think via a discussion of Scotland, kilts, and my observation that I think anyone, regardless of their gender, who wants to wear skirts should be able to--a few of us were discussing whether dglenn or the_gardener has better legs. This was surreal because I think I was the only person in the conversation who has actually met both of those people.

If you like kilts, you should visit the Utilikilts website (http://www.utilikits.com). My honey has worn his every single weekend since it arrived in late April. He'd wear it all the time if work allowed.

In my case, I just nip down to Covent Garden after work and browse the racks at Gap, H&M, Monsoon, and so forth.

I saw a utilikilt at Albacon--the wearer was very pleased with it, and told us a bit about it's virtues. I happen to prefer trousers for myself, though.

Scrolling back seven score entries on my friends page to catch up and finding this is a welcome return to normalcy after spending a loooong day in a coat and tie (and trousers). Thank you.

I guess the_gardener and I will just have to manage to be in the same place sometime to model for some judges, eh?

You're welcome. Since the_gardener lives in England, I don't know how likely it is that we'll get you in the same place--but if we do, I'm fairly sure you'll both be in skirts.
