A few more notes on last night's party

Not only did I come home with Play-doh under my fingernails, I got to whang at a piñata. A hobbit birthday with children's toys to accompany the excellent food, presents, and people. porcinea, charlottezweb, and Simon WINOLJ rock!

I mentioned zorinth to Elissa (voice teacher, also not on LJ), and after a moment's confusion as to who I meant (his non-LJ name isn't that rare), she was telling me how wonderful he is, and asked how recently I'd seen him, so I told her about him meeting me at the hotel entrance at Albacon and helping me get my stuff put away.

Most stuff-in-phyllo-dough snacks are tasty, and I wound up nibbling fallen-off bits of phyllo from the edges of the plate.

I played substitute host, introducing lawnrrd to a few people because I was the only person in the room at the time who he'd met in the flesh. This went well.
