Related in both timing and concept, I just spotted

this post from a few days ago, over in gender_petition:

"National Coming Out Day is October 11, 2003. In the
past, this day has been a celebration for gay, lesbian, bisexual,
and transgender people who come out of the closet. This year, let's
ALSO make it about coming out for civil marriage equality.
[...]"

Bush's special week for "one man and one
woman" couples starts the following day. The question is: can folks
get the mainstream media to pay a whole lot of attention and this
capitalize on the calendar coincidence?

I'm already out as polyamorous (and intellectually bisexual, not sure I've met the right woman yet :-), but I'm happy to come out again ... though I'm not a USA citizen or resident, so I'm not sure that will help.

redbird, can I be your co-spouse, since we know each other? :-)
