I had telemedicine with the GI doctor this morning. She asked when I'd started on the budesonide, and I told her I'd tried stopping the Imodium, but found it was too soon, so restarted this morning. I'm going to try reducing the dosage on that in a week or two and see how that goes.
After I told the doctor about this, she said that I'm doing everything right, which I think. She wants to see me in September, after I'm done taking the budosenide. Her office will call me about that, and if I need anything, I should use MyChart, not phone. I asked if I need more blood drawn, or other labs, and she said no. That's what I expected, but it seemed worth confirming.
