I tried putting the partial in this afternoon. It took a few tries, and then felt tight/a little uncomfortable, but I decided to keep it in my mouth for an hour.
Twenty or 30 minutes later, I started coughing (as happens), and it became obvious that the partial was loose. The right-edge of the thing wasn't hooked on properly. So I took it out, to try again later.
A few more attempts later in the day failed, in that I couldn't get the thing seated at all. Some of those also hurt, either at one end, or along the bottom of the partial.
I have an appointment with the dentist for Monday morning (it now being Friday night). I'm going to make a few more attempts, because why not?
