adrian_turtle made a chocolate cake with cinnamon glaze, and we had excellent sushi delivered, from Cafe Sushi in Cambridge, Mass. Cafe Sushi has been takeout/delivery only since the beginning of the pandemic., and shows no signs of planning to change that. (I wouldn't be dining in anyhow, under the circumstances.
I miss going out for dinner to celebrate my birthday, but am entirely happy to have had excellent sushi four dinner. And it is so good to be living together, so Adrian doesn't have to keep an eye on the time before heading back to Arlington.
We'd hoped to seeminoanmiss earlier in the day, in the nearby park because the weather was unseasonably warm, but she had to cancel.
