A recent poll found that 90% of Americans agree on something: we are experiencing a mental health crisis.

This via the Dr. B newsletter, which agrees with them (as do I) and pointed out that it is very unusual to get 90% agreement on anything.

I've been wondering just how much damage Covid and lockdowns, social distancing and all that guff when combined with fear have actually done to mental health and I fear it's a huge amount. You may recall that masks almost sent me over the edge.

I imagine a lot of people are finding that the pandemic, with its worry, increased isolation, and polarization, is exacerbating any mental health issues they already had, whether previously acknowledged or not.

Also, there seems to be a greater willingness to admit we’re not-okay.
