I'm so tired of having to be sensible--much indoor socializing is too risky because of my autoimmune disease, and outdoor socializing is also problematic this time of year, because of a different symptom of the MS.

This is the second weekend social thing this summer that I've had to skip because of the heat. It's not unusually hot, for Boston this time of year, and many of my friends are more heat-tolerant than I am: neither of these has been the sort of hot day that has official heat advisories for dangerous hot (or hot and humid) conditions.

I told cattitude a few minutes ago that I wasn't even sure why I was unhappy, despite having posted the first paragraph of this to a Discord server, and said it to him, within the past hour. *sigh*

Oh, I hear you. I don't have MS, but I have just been reading a lot of articles about how the risk of heart attacks in very hot weather rises HORRIFICALLY for people taking certain medications, including one that I take. They are thinking the nineties and above, not the eighties, but having the weather be capable of really hurting you is just the icing on this garbage cake we're staring at. I'm so sorry.

This is the fucking worst. It's exhausting. It's led to me taking risks that I know I shouldn't—fewer than most people but still.

I understand the feeling. My mobility and health issues insert themselves into everything in my life as well, and add in the fear of infection on top of it has left me a bit of a hermit.

The heat just adds one more stress, one more set of limits, another set of pains.
