We continue to make progress on unpacking and related things.
First, I got
cattitude to put shims under my front of desk, so the file drawer no longer slides open whenever it isn't actively being held closed. That's something we noted a month ago that we would need to do, but other things took priority.
Shimming the desk let me move an empty cardboard box that had been holding the desk drawer closed. That in turn gives me access to a dresser drawer, and I am rearranging some of my clothes in ways that I hope will work better, with less risk of forgetting where certain things are, or even that they exist. Not so incidentally, moving some of my t-shirts freed some non-drawer storage in that dresser, and my plans for that space may get me back some useful storage in our bedroom. (Cattitude and I now have one shared dresser in our bedroom, and one in the study. He often wakes up before I do, so while I want most of my clothes in the bedroom, it's also useful to have some in a room where grabbing them won't wake him.)
