We and our stuff have been in the new place since Saturday, and things are going so slowly.

There are many many boxes to unpack, meaning many things to decide, starting with what goes where in the kitchen. there are curtains to buy, once we figure out and buy curtain rods.

We ordered storage shelves/ bins, so we can turn an awkwardly shallow closet into a pantry, but about half were damaged in shipping. One is still on the way, and we want to wait for that, and see is it is intact before arranging to return the broken ones.

Also, we haven't started unpacking the study, so I am doing online things with my phone, or the laptop. I don't know where Andy put our laptop last night, and we are both sleeping poorly (see curtains, or the lack thereof) so I am not going to wake him to ask

However, the three of us are living together, and it's good.

Congratulations! Best wishes with the unpacking. I found all those decisions hard too. But they can always be changed!

Getting things sorted is always one hell of a job, especially when two households come together. But if things later turn out to be inconvenient, you can always change where you put things.

Best of luck, in the meantime!
