Dropping this here for my reference, a South African (quoted in metro.co.uk source says the symptoms to watch out for are:


Fatigue
Night sweats
Scratchy throat
Dry cough
Mild muscle aches

I only have two of those, fatigue being the other, and the muscle aches are very localised between the shoulder blades. I chalk the aches up to bad chair posture.

Not sure how helpful, since first wave, alpha, and delta didn't affect everyone (ETA: everyone who was infected) in the same ways.
