Camestros Felapton noticed that Ursula K. Le Guin and Philip K. Dick were in the same high school class, and suggested that someone should write stories in which they knew each other, and "they fight crime."

From there, it got weird(er): https://camestrosfelapton.wordpress.com/2021/03/17/kin-and-crow/

Not clicking through, but it is a proved fact that Eleanor Arneson and Dr. Demento went to their High School prom together.

Heh, I've always been fascinated by that coincidence, especially as someone who lives in the Berkeley region now, and have kicked around the idea of writing something similar myself.

(It's worth noting that Berkeley High School is huge, somewhere north of 3,000 students, so their failure to connect is not that surprising. Also, Le Guin was a child of privilege, who grew up in a house which recently sold for $4 million, whereas Dick was the son of a working-class-ish single mother. More here.)

What astonished me in this material was UKL's high-school yearbook photo, with her hair down to her shoulders. This is the only photo of her I've seen at any age - childhood, early adulthood, mature years - in which she does not have her characteristic short hairstyle.
