In a normal year, a quiet, wintry week wouldn't have involved lots of ordering things online. But here we are. So,
  • After several days of thinking "I should order some insulating curtains," I sat down with @cattitude and we selected curtains, and ordered them (yes, via Amazon)
  • Tonight's dinner was duck and rice, starting with a cooked half-duck purchased from Instacart via Wegman's. It's a bit of as splurge, but significantly less so than having a meal delivered would be. Thursday and Friday's dinner were mostly vegetables. Thursday was just assorted roasted root vegetables (beets, sweet potato, and a carrot), and last night's was potato leek soup, with enough left to be today's lunch as well.
  • Recent reading is mostly (old) Nero Wolfe mysteries, borrowed as ebooks from the King County Library, praise them with great praise!
  • When staying home means staying away from people and is the socially responsible thing to do, it'sharder to tell whether i'm sitting home so much because of low-level depression.
  • Boredom, yes, and I am doing online jigsaws again.

You speak for the people.

I am doing online jigsaws

Is there a site you'd recommend re: interface?

I have to admit I'd know I was horribly bored if I started doing jigsaws! :o)

It'd mean I'd run out of books! The horror!

Nero wolfe mysteries are always fun. I've always been a big fan of mystery books, especially the classics.
