I dyed my hair purple again this morning, after letting it fade all the way to white. I am pleased by how it came out, and should order some more hair coloring.
I'm thinking of trying plain indigo dye and seeing what happens. I have combined it with henna in the past and it's still a bit more red than I'd like. I'm totally fine if it turns green.
I'm using the Overtone "coloring conditioners"; the "deep blue" comes out purple on my hair, very similar to the color that's supposed to be purple. They formulate things either for bleached, or (newer) brown hair, not naturally white with age.
I just saw an ad on FB for Overtone. Geez, their spies are quick. Or it was coincidence. my hair is about 1/3 gray, the rest still brown. So I'll have 2 tone hair when I color it, as well.
