Not feeling very sensible, or very butterflyish, this morning; hence the "name" change.

Also, there is more to haiku than counting to 17 syllables.

Someone on Salon (I think) suggested a funny American haiku moratorium several years ago, and I've been following it ever since. The 17-syllable thing is just enough of a constraint to make some people think they're writing poetry when they're not.
