I'm trying to resist the call of "cyher Monday" one-day sales. However, I pointed [personal profile] cattitude at a Lands End sale, since I vaguely remembered he wanted to get something from them; at 60% off he decided to get more of the better-fitting pants now rather than wait for the rest of his pants to wear out and need replacement.

I also used a code from WhatsGood, because I wanted more good apples, and I wanted to order enough that the delivery fee wouldn't be more than the price of the food. So, two quarter-peck bags of apples, a variety of seafood, two different kinds of squash, and some cucumbers, all of which will be arriving Thursday. (Waiting until Thursday means we can get fresh seafood; Tuesday or Wednesday, they'll only bring frozen and smoked fish.) This does mean three more apple-less days, in New England, in November, which feels wrong, beyond me wanting the apples.

And I ordered a set of colored pencils, in the optimistic hope that I'll use them if they're here. I hadn't much, years ago, but I expect to be staying close to home because of the pandemic for at least a few more months.

Well, you pointed me at Lands End, too, where I allowed myself a carry on that doesn't weigh what my beloved Briggs and Riley does, as well as a long-overdue rain jacket and a lightweight jacket to replace one from a women's clothing store... much beloved but zipper broke some time ago.

Grateful for the pointing! Would never have indulged at normal prices.

I suspect I might have the same problem but I was ordering in big men's sizing so here's hoping!

(Also couldn't figure out what size I actually need so it may all be going back to get upsized)
