I got up early this morning so I could take a walk before it was too hot for me to be comfortable outside, even in shorts. I started by watering the vegetable plants, then walked slowly around the neighborhood, probably about a third of a mile. There's some honeysuckle about a block away that I could smell easily even through my mask. I was also able to smell some privet flowers I walked past; those are both carrying scents, and the hot morning makes a difference.

cattitude is now downstairs watching a broadcast of Ruddigore, together (via zoom) with quility and some of her friends, and I'm going to enjoy a bit of time by myself.
