I was feeling a bit unwell yesterday, low on energy, and not exactly short of breath but more aware of my breath that normal. I checked my temperature and didn't seem to be running a fever. OK, make a note and go to bed.

This morning I woke up with a bit of a cough. Any other spring, I'd be considering whether I needed a cough drop, and being sure to stay hydrated. This year, yes those things, but also I have to stay home at least until the rest of May, assuming I'm not sick enough to need to seek medical care or testing.

I hope [personal profile] cattitude is feeling up to two walks to CVS today, to drop off my Ritalin prescription and then pick up the pills.

The question is, if I'm feeling okay later, would it be safe (for others) for me to spend a bit of time in our yard, with a mask and staying well back from the sidewalk.

I think it would be completely safe. The fresh air and daylight will do you good.

Plague bell!

I think you'll be fine, honestly, especially with a mask on.

I've found it fairly easy to keep distance from my neighbors, in terms of passing each other. There's a certain amount of calling down the stairs to wait, or looking up and getting out of the way.

And turning the head away. On a sidewalk I sometimes step aside onto the curb and stand facing away.
