Governor Baker just extended the order shutting down non-essential businesses through May 4th. Gatherings of more than ten people are also banned until then.

That (obviously) cancels my appointment to get my hair cut in mid-April, so I re-booked for May 5th. (The salon uses a web interface for scheduling haircuts; I haven't actually talked to them since I got my hair cut in February.)

I wonder if I should reschedule my checkup with my GP. Ontario's got a "five persons max" rule in place right now, barring essential workplaces and businesses, but I think I want to reduce the stress for my GP.

Does it need to be an in-person appointment? (My last appointment would have been more useful in person, but it seemed prudent to accept the offer of a phone visit.)

The rule is against gatherings of ten or more. The difference can be significant.
