I was a little surprised to be stopped on the way in by someone who was collecting signatures on a nominating petition--the primaries for the state legislature will be later. The petitions were for my state senator; I told the canvasser "sure, I like Will, he answers my emails."
Our precinct votes in the senior center; I was coughing just enough this morning that I decided not to proceed from the polling place to the exercise room. (I doubt I have anything infectious; I don't want to worry strangers, especially since CoVID-19 is more serious for elderly patients.)
It's an absurdly nice day; we enjoyed the walk there and back, and opened windows when we got home (sunny and 64F/18C). The convenience store at the corner is out of every flavor of Italian ice except grape; they don't get deliveries in the winter, but I'm not the only person who buys cups of ices in January and February.
