Luck? I'm wishing for them as got the power to decide to see what a treasure you can be for them, and to realize that they absolutely have to hire you.
Whenever I hear anyone saying "fingers crossed" these days, it reminds me that carandol spent all day with his fingers crossed for the Apollo 13 astronauts, which is one of those weird crossover things between SF and fantasy, except real.
Good luck! I hope they are sufficiently sensible to want you.
Oh my -- what a lovely literate lot of luck-wishers you have! I add my voice to theirs, in what I hope is harmony. And may the job fairy tap you gently with her wand -- and while she's in the neighborhood, she should also tap Andy w/r/t Google.
Next time you're in these parts, I'll lend you MY wand, to wield in interviews so that the interviewer can cop a clue. I made a rather over-the-top wand for a one-act play I was in last summer. I don't have any special powers myself, but that sucker weighs enough to enlighten the ungrammatical several times over. It is the very Louisville Slugger of fairy godmother wants.
