This one was easier: I really do think I'm close to the perfect person for the job they describe (whether it's the perfect job for me is another question, but it's a copyediting job, in Hoboken, and that'll do, that'll do quite well, since nobody wants to pay me to sit at home and drink tea). Also, it's not a blind ad, so it was easier to write a cover letter that pointed out the things I have that they want.

Swindon, although I'm not exactly sure where that is. My UK geography is really poor. (Bad me.)

www.mongoosepublishing.com, although I don't think they have career information there. It would be editorial work on gaming books.

Swindon is between Cardiff and Reading on the train, it's a dump. City, technically, but actually an overgrown town, and a dump not worth getting off the train for.
