Memo to self: things not to do when already tired and stressed

Today's lesson is that the default answer to anything on a rest day should be "no" or "maybe later." It's too easy to say "yes" or "I guess so," do the thing, and then realize that what I get for taking on the work of talking to people is having to talk to more strangers, which is not restful.

The repair guy has been in to fix a small thing in our current apartment, which would have been no big deal if I hadn't already been so worn out.

I understand this very well and have Learned a similar lesson, although with varying degrees of success in actual implementation.
