gingicat is looking for a book suitable (and positive) for a gender-questioning pre-teen, something along the lines of a Judy Blume novel. Preferably from the point of view of someone AFAB whose parents are supportive either way.

She asked me to add that this is for a depressed kid with exceedingly low self-esteem, and all the recs on Goodreads are depressing.
