I'm flying home this afternoon, and woke up on my own at about 7:30. For the trip up here, I woke when my alarm went off, at 6:15.
Neither of those is sleeping late, but they're better than my usual pattern for travel days: I was expecting to be up before that alarm on Friday, and likely before seven this morning.
This has never gone with specific anxiety: I usually pack the night before (though I haven't this time, since it's "just put everything I brought, plus the things I bought Saturday, [back] into the suitcase" and neither flying (this trip) nor buses or trains make me nervous. I do fret about being late for things, and usually leave enough time that I can then get bored at the airport or bus terminal.
