In memoriam: onyxlynx

I just found out from wild_irises's journal that onyxlynx died about ten days ago.

I didn't know D. that well—she wasn't easy to get to know—but we met a long time ago, back when she lived in New York, and I always liked her, in person and on paper and, eventually, here. (I'm not being as cautious as wildirises in not linking D's DW handle to her wallet name, now that nobody can bother her if they find the connection here.)

Oh no, I'm so sorry. I only met her once and we interacted but sporadically online, but she was so vivid a personality that I still remember meeting her decades later.

Geez, I never made the connection of the DW with the person. Dammit.

I only met her at the Corflatch/Potflu in Seattle, where we were part of a dinner expedition that was lovely.
