Having gotten to bed late last night, I slept until ten this morning, then hung out, played Scrabble with
cattitude, and made and ate a salad for lunch. Then out to the gym
Cardio 33 minutes, top heart rate 150
Hip abduction, 100 pounds, 13 reps (I skipped the adduction because the bruise on my left knee is in just the place to be pressed against the equipment)
Bench press, 50 pounds, 3 sets of 13. (With the bar appropriately placed and my arms at just wider than shoulders, I can do the exercise just fine, but have trouble resting the weights when I'm done with a set.)
Seated leg curl, 85 pounds, 2 sets of 12. I was going to do a third set, but it felt wrong, position and movement, as soon as I started, so I stopped with two.
Triceps pulldown, 35 pounds, 3 sets of 15
Lat pulldown, 72 pounds, 2 sets of 12; 65 pounds, 15
Crunches, 4 sets of 20
Back arches, 3 sets of 16
Yoga tree. I managed a couple of reps standing on my right leg with my left food resting above my knee instead of below it, then felt a bit wobbly.

Underhand wrist curls, 3 pounds each hand, 3 sets of 15
Lateral raise, 5 pounds each hand, 3 sets of 15

After a thorough workout, I went downtown, fed the assorted animals, hung out with Trouble for a bit, then went to the Upper East Side for all-we-could-eat sushi with
agrumer and some friends of his. The servings were generous, and the fish mostly quite good. The yellowtail didn't live up to the good reviews of last time, but the mackerel and tobiko were very nice, and the company was good.
