we have signed an application for an apartment. Somerville, elevator building, no garden or balcony alas. trying not to second-guess myself.

(And Somerville has a lot to recommend it.)
We really should attempt getting together (ice cream? a meal?) while you are still in the immediate neighborhood, shouldn't we?
