is sure it will snow, but not how much. (Weather Underground is giving a low total, the National Weather Service expects over a foot, and Accuweather and Dark Sky are in between.) All four agree that it's going to be blustery.

I can't say I didn't know what I was getting into; I didn't move here for the weather, but I knew this sort of winter was part of the package.

I mostly consider winter the price we pay for getting fall (and also a fair chunk of spring and early and late summer, really).

On the other hand, I lived in Minnesota for over a decade, so my reaction to New England weather these days is mostly "Hey, at least it's not this much snow *and* having to shovel it in the sub-zero temps that came through after the snow."

On the third hand, I made sure I had sufficient stuff I can do at home that if I decide not to aim at work on Monday, it'll be okay. I think the actual totals are going to depend heavily on if it gets much over 34 F or so (if so, more rain) or not.
