I may want a wake-up call at about 5:30 GMT tomorrow morning, so I don't miss my morning flight home. That is 9:30 p.m. tonight, Pacific time. (It would be a call to London, but brief--I have no expectation of being up for actual conversation.)

I emailed Alan about this, and then realized not only that he might be otherwise occupied (or over here in the UK), but that there are enough other people I know who might be willing and able that a broadcast request makes sense. (You don't actually need to be on PST, I just think it's more likely to be convenient for someone there than for Eastern or Central time.)

[I will update more substantively later, probably not until I'm back in New York, but I'm okay, and Mom is coping.]

I will be up late tonight, and would be happy to call. (I haven't been trying to go to bed as early, when I'm not on IM with somebody to remind me that 11pm is a reasonable bedtime.) Should I call your mother's number?
