This one feels like "too soon to tell": advocating diplomacy and nuclear disarmament are within the general idea of what Nobel had in mind, but I'd have thought the people in Oslo would have waited to see some results. The quick discussion I've seen—people like the BBC had nice articles prepped for, say, Morgan Tsvangirai—says they wanted to encourage President Obama on that course. I don't think he needs their encouragement.

It's somewhat disturbing to see the committee award a Peace Prize to someone who is refusing to meet with another Peace Prize winner.
