redbird: The words "congnitive hazard" with one of those drawings of an object that can't work in three dimensions (brain broken)

Do fairy godmothers get paid, and if so, is it a salaried position, or piecework?

My own theory is that Fairy Godmothers get paid in vicarious pleasure, and are wise enough to grant only those gifts that will result in long-term good results for the recipient. But then, I don't think I've ever had any direct experience in this sphere and am going only by what I think I'd do if I were one.

Sadly, no -- not by occupation, or even major avocation. On another hand, one of the reasons I like to wear Levi's is that they have a watch-pocket that's handy for holding a folded-small C-note that comes in handy for the occasional indulgence when the whim strikes.

(One of the many things I like about the Plains Indian Powwow Culture is that it offers many opportunities to do something like this, anonymously.)
