In a discussion just now with Marta about what level of attention the book I'm working on needs, and what things should and shouldn't be changed at this stage in the production cycle, I said "Our goal is to help them pass the Regents."

Like most New Yorkers, I figured I was done with Regents exams when I finished high school. That phrasing is a stronger "how did I get here?" than the also valid observation that what I'm most concerned with is making sure the math is right.
