Last night, I managed two whole pieces of beef, a couple of forkfuls of brown rice, four pieces of red pepper, and a few straw mushrooms from an order of beef with oyster sauce. Which doesn't sound like much, but it was progress, as was my actively enjoying the red pepper (nice and juicy, which was helpful).
cattitude commented that my appetite was better. I agreed, and noted that it felt as though it was at about 2 or 3 on a scale of ten—but that on Thursday or Friday it had been at about .5.
Today, I took out a small serving of smoked bluefish for lunch (yay Greenmarket!), finished it, and have gone back for seconds. Also applesauce and some 2% milk for breakfast. I don't know whether my being happy with the 2% is a lasting thing, or if it tastes richer than usual because I'm on a lowfat diet generally.
