Today's was a short workout because not only was I finding I had to stop early on a number of things, I just wasn't getting into it. So I stopped, did my stretches, showered, and went down to Chinatown for lunch. The gym will be there tomorrow, or Saturday, or Monday.


Cardio, 12:30, top heart rate 145 (I might have gone longer if I hadn't run out of newspaper to read)
Chest press, 75 pounds, 12; 70 pounds, 6
Calf raise, 75 pounds, 13, 6; 65 pounds, 13
Leg press, 300 pounds, 10 (the end of this set was the first point at which I thought "to hell with it, I'll go home"); 250 pounds, 2 sets of 13
Tricep pulldown, 45 pounds, 15, 15, 6. I did the second and third sets standing on a balance pad which happened to be next to the handle holder.

Crunches, 3 sets of 20
Back arches, 2 sets of 17
Tree, 4 sets of {3 on each side}
[I was prepared to do the balance/lateral raise, but couldn't find the balance dome.]

Balance quasi-fly, 50 pounds, 15 with each leg forward

So, five things involving weights, instead of ten or so. In theory, that leaves room for a short workout tomorrow without overlapping today's, or maybe [livejournal.com profile] cattitude will want the place to himself for a bit on Saturday.
