Seasons flow into each other; this isn't the first warm, humid day, and the roses have been blooming for a fortnight. But there are markers linked to specific days, and this morning brought me one of them: the first Atlantic Tropical Weather Statement from NOAA, via RSS and my friends page. This one is pre-canned text, listing the storm names that will be used; the predictions for how many storms we'll get; and notes on the kinds of forecasts and information statements the National Hurricane Center is likely to issue.
In the meantime, it's bright and sunny, and not likely to get too hot today (I think they said 78 F/25 C).
