Daylight savings time is a normal, expected part of my universe, though sometimes difficult to adjust to.

Snow, and even "near-blizzard conditions", is a normal, expected part of my universe, though sometimes difficult to cope with.

Near-blizzard conditions during daylight savings time--or, as the British call it, Summer Time--is not a normal, expected part of my universe.

I remember it snowed in April last year, even right up to the end of the month, we had some snow on the ground on Rysmiel's birthday on May 2nd, and it snowed on the Monday of Minicon. But that wasn't NYC...

Yup. Ten centimeters total (i.e., Weather Underground reports 4 inches), and it's now a freezing drizzle, to be followed by a week of intermittent rain.

I'll be fine, it's the flowering plants I'm concerned for at this point.

I remember a big blizzard right of the first day of spring, but that was nearly 20 years ago now, and not in NYC. But it did suffice in rearranging my headspace to "blizzards can be expected as late as the end of April."

Is it any wonder I now live in California?
