Gym

I was feeling a bit low on energy last night, and told [livejournal.com profile] cattitude that if I still felt that way in the morning, I'd skip my workout. Instead, I got up at our normal time, showered, and made tea and coffee while he slept in a little bit. Then we headed out, despite my yawns and tender foot (literally—my right heel has been tender on and off for several days, in a weird way that seems to be worst when I first stand up). I intended to do a relatively light workout, though not as light as Friday's.

I did fewer sets of some things, but after an hour and a half, I looked at my notes on what I'd done, and said "Rosenzweig, are you even capable of doing a light workout?" Then I stretched, showered, and went down to Chinatown for lunch. I ran a few errands on the way home, involving varied food, and am now home, and going to see about resting for a bit.

Numbers for a not-so-light workout:

Cardio, 15 minutes, top heart rate 141

Vertical chest press, 70 pounds, 12
Calf machine, 75 pounds, 12, 10; 65 pounds, 12
Tricep pulldown, 45 pounds, 3 sets of 15
Adjustable row, 70 pounds, 2 sets of 15
Leg press, 300 pounds, 3 sets of 12
Bicep curl, 25 pounds, 25, 25, 21. My left wrist twinged, so I stopped.

Crunches, 4 sets of 20
Back arches, 3 sets of 17
Tree, 4 sets of {3 on each leg}

Lateral raise on balance dome, 5 pounds each hand, 2 sets of 15
Hip adduction, 110 pounds, 13, 11
Hip abduction, 85 pounds, 2 sets of 13
Wrist curl, 35 pounds, 3 sets of 15
Balance lunge/not really fly, 50 pounds, 15 with right foot forward, 15 with left. (35 pounds, which I'd been doing, felt like too little, and this particular machine has only 15-pound increments.)
