This was my first trip to the gym this calendar year. I left work an hour early, to improve my chances of getting there; the gym was pleasantly uncrowded when I started, and incredibly crowded by a little after six. I am selfishly comforted that this is probably the most crowded I'll see it all year. I was pleased to see a trainer I like, who I hadn't seen in a while, to the point that I had, earlier this workout, been considering asking whether he still worked there.
Cardio (it's an exercise bike, and I read while I pedal), 20 minutes, top heart rate 149
Vertical chest press, 55 pounds, 2 sets of 12
Calf machine, 75 pounds, 13, 11; 70 pounds, 12
Leg press, 280 pounds, 2 sets of 12; 270 pounds, 12
Adjustable row, 90 pounds, 3 sets of 15
Tricep pulldown, 45 pounds, 3 sets of 15
Bicep curls, 20 pounds, 3 sets of 20 (I may go back up to 25 soon)
Lateral raise, 5 pounds left hand/2 pounds right, 2 sets of 15
Hip abduction, 85 pounds, 8--I stopped because my left hip hurt
Hip adduction, 100 pounds, 2 sets of 13 (no pain)
Crunches, 4 sets of 20
Back arches, 3 sets of 17
Tree, 4 sets of {2 on each side}, good balance
